Infuse Everything with the Love of Learning
I bring my passion for learning to every classroom. Passion is contagious! As educators, we are lifelong learners and we have the opportunity to empower our students to develop their growth and love of learning.
Connect Communication and Engagement
For years, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse groups and develop strong communication skills. My priorities are to engage, encourage, and empower through education and communication.
Connect Results to a Higher Purpose
Teaching gives me an outlet to share my knowledge and contribute to something higher while learning from my students’ experiences. I thrive on seeing students realize their potential. I am a results-focused leader with expertise in creating and implementing evidence-based practices. I guide students in their pursuit of knowledge while teaching them how to persist through challenges, setbacks, and negative emotions. But, I also create a classroom where all students can learn without fear of failure.
Educating the next generation of students is a significant responsibility. It takes a mix of enthusiasm, passion, clarity, and empathy.
Design for Engagement
Designing engaging curriculum that inspires students is vital. It’s essential to go beyond memorization and traditional lectures. Instead, we can elevate students’ critical thinking, application, and analysis skills through hands-on activities, individualized instruction, and various presentation styles. Each student brings their unique perspective and goals. To help them to accomplish these goals, I use different presentation styles to keep students engaged, such as physical activities, group projects, and getting students involved by asking questions and having open discussions.
Practice Positive Psychology
My thesis was on Positive Psychology which influences every interaction with students. I enjoy the process of students applying the curriculum to their personal and professional lives. I cultivate a positive atmosphere that encourages each student to want to learn and apply the lessons. I lead by example, expressing my love for learning and dedication to student success.
